About
Triathlon and triathlon training have fascinated me ever since I saw Julie Moss crawl to the finish line at the Ironman in Hawaii in 1982.
Recently, one morning I woke up and while I was heading out of my bedroom I caught a look at myself in the mirror, and while I was not fat, I most certainly was out of shape and carrying extra weight.
Right then I made the mental switch to commit, get back into shape and stop thinking that a triathlon would be a great thing to do “someday.”
Like you’re doing right now, I started doing research into various training plans and coaching options and felt the more I searched, the more confused I got.
I initially started off with books on triathlon training such as; Be Iron Fit, 2nd: Time-Efficient Training Secrets for Ultimate Fitness and Triathlete Magazine’s Essential Week-by-Week Training Guide: Plans, Scheduling Tips, and Workout Goals for Triathletes of All Levels, both of which worked fine for my first sprint and couple of Olympic distance triathlons.
But, when it came to longer distance, I wanted something that was updated more frequently.
Since the name of the site is Endurance Nation Review, I guess you know who I decided to train under and spend my hard earned dollars with…Endurance Nation.
If you’re looking to purchase a plan you can go to their specific half Ironman, Ironman, and Out Season training plans. And please follow along as I train for the San Juan 70.3
